My Journey: From Banker to Independent Advisor
My journey began in 2001, when I stepped into the world of banking with a desire to learn, grow, and truly make a difference in people's financial lives. Over the years, I built deep expertise in Personal Banking and Investments for Non-Resident clients, helping individuals manage their finances across borders with clarity and confidence.
As my career progressed, I also specialized in
International Trade, gaining a comprehensive understanding of global financial dynamics. But beyond the technical skills, what truly defined my journey was my commitment to customer service and relationship-building which shaped my career in Canada since 2013. I’ve always believed that trust, transparency, and listening closely to people’s needs are the foundation of meaningful financial guidance.
In 2021, after two decades of corporate experience, I took a leap of faith and started my own entrepreneurial venture as an Independent Broker in Personal Insurance and Investments . This move wasn’t just a career shift — it was a calling. I wanted to offer individuals and families personalized, unbiased, and honest advice that helps them preserve, grow, and value what matters most — today and for the future.
Today, I work closely with people from all walks of life, helping them make informed decisions in their day-to-day financial lives. Whether it’s protecting their loved ones, planning for long-term goals, or simply creating peace of mind, my mission is simple: to provide
clear, reliable, and human-centered financial solutions
that empower people to live life with confidence.
My husband and I,
being both advisors,
have found a greater
sense of happiness
and fulfilment in what
we do, which is to help
secure and change the
lives of others.
Growing up, I believed that having a high-paying job and a well-known career in the healthcare industry was the only way to find fulfilment in life. To meet expectations, I became a nurse with Perioperative specialization, and even considered pursuing a Doctorate degree.
To earn more money, I worked a lot of shifts, including overtime and holidays. Though the income was great, I found myself paying more in taxes and ending up with nearly the same amount of money as if I had only worked regular hours. The time I spent working tirelessly for a couple of dollars took away valuable moments I could have spent with my husband and family.
I quickly realized that this was not something I could picture myself doing: spending 30-40 years slaving away at work for a fixed amount of money in exchange for time that I could never get back. Time is a luxury that should be spent with loved ones.
Gratefully, I was introduced to Greatway in 2018. Following in the footsteps of my husband, I began working part-time in the business, and Greatway opened new doors for us. The income opportunity enabled me to pay off my student loan debts and live a comfortable life while travelling with our family.
